If your credentials are correct, you’ll be given a choice of desktops to connect to (note that sometimes if you only have one desktop available, the client will automatically connect the the first one). You will need to enter them in the form of pace\ab12345p. If you’ve done everything successfully to this point, you should get a login box. If you get an error like below, you’re most likely not connected to the Pace network (by way of the VPN or being physically located at Pace). You can do this by clicking the icon within the Horizon window. The first time you start the client, you’ll want to add a server. Click on the icon to start the Horizon client. The installer should have put an icon on your desktop (if not, check the Windows Start Menu). Starting the Horizon Client for the first time You can click “I Agree & Install” to start the process.įinally, the installer will ask you to restart your computer. Navigate there and double-click the file to start the install process. Once your version has been selected, click the Download button again to start the download.īy default, your browser should have downloaded the Horizon client to your “Downloads” folder on your computer. If you’re having trouble with the 64-bit version and aren’t sure of your operating system, try the 32-bit version. For the test setup, we’re running a 64-bit copy of Windows, so we’ll select the 64-bit version of the Horizon client. Make sure to choose the version that matches your operating system. You can download it from VMware’s website.
